Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to keep Cursie open?

No. You can quit Cursie after applying your cursors. When you restart your Mac, the last cursor pack you chose is applied again at sign-in.

Can macOS use Windows .cur and .ani cursor packs?

Yes. You can import Windows .cur and .ani files, review their intended cursor use, and apply them directly.

Can Cursie preview animated .ani cursors?

Yes. You can preview animated .ani cursors in motion before applying them to macOS.

How do I return to the default Mac cursor?

Cursie's “Open Pointer Reset” button only opens macOS Pointer settings. When the settings window opens, click “Reset Colors” yourself to return to the default cursor.
